Ms. Luckie

Ms. Luckie has been teaching 4th grade for the past 4 years (although, this is only her second year teaching at East Elmhurst Community School and she is loving it so far)! Ms. Luckie is from Dutchess County, New York and attended Marist College where she received her B.A. in Elementary General and Special Education. After she finished her B.A., Ms. Luckie moved to New York City where she started her first teaching job at an independent school located on the Upper West Side. During this time, Ms. Luckie completed her Master’s Degree in Literacy from Hunter College. Currently, Ms. Luckie lives in Scarsdale, NY where she loves to spend time with her friends and family and go to spin class on the weekends.

Ms. Luckie believes that children excel most when there is a sense of community in the classroom. Whether it is celebrating eachother’s differences or helping one another during a time of need, Ms. Luckie believes this type of environment allows students to perform their best work at their greatest potential.

Ms. Bultron

Ms. Bultron has been teaching with the NYC DOE since 2003.  She was a NYC Teaching Fellow & earned her Master’s Degree in Education from Brooklyn College. Ms. Bultron was introduced to the East Elmhurst Community School during a Showcase Schools visit in March, 2018. She completely fell in love with the school environment & had to become a part of the team. During her demo lesson in April, 2018 with the founding students, she was convinced PS 329Q was exactly where she belonged.  Ms. Bultron loves teaching reading & writing.

As a mom herself, Ms. Bultron treats each child the same way she expects her child to be treated.  She firmly believes in the power of parent/teacher partnership. When the lines of communication between school & home are wide open, rapport is strengthened, allowing a child’s potential to become limitless.
